As an advisor for the firm, Mark leads the development of our M&A and corporate development practice, helping clients and stakeholders navigate the complex intersections of business expansion and emerging technologies. Ensuring services evolve with the times, Mark champions the application of artificial intelligence and legal-tech automation to drive efficiency and modernised deal-making. 

 

Mark's expertise is anchored in a deep understanding of the foundational mechanics of technology, business operations, and the high-level strategies required for global business growth. Most recently, he has been serving as Head of Commercial Operations The Adaptavist Group - a global technology and software solutions leader leading their legal and commercial team as well as their M&A activities. Prior to that, Mark held prominent leadership roles across the tech and consulting landscapes, including serving as and Head of EMEA at Ovum’s technology consulting group.

 

Having started his career as an applications programmer and product manager, Mark possesses an authentic, ground-up understanding of software and systems architecture. This technical fluency makes him exceptionally positioned to establish the firm's AI-savvy practice, ensuring our strategies aren't just legally sound, but technologically progressive. He helps translate the complexities of artificial intelligence into actionable corporate strategies, ensuring our firm - and our clients - remain at the cutting edge of the digital transformation.

 

Mark holds a double Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Philosophy from the University of Delaware, and earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in International Business from the prestigious London Business School.
